Startup Weekend was a blast.  I pitched in with marketing for the newly-invented ‘GiveDo’ charity search portal built in a single-weekend competition. GiveDo.com is an innovative social startup that makes it easy for charities to earn income from internet search advertising. Consumers can personally engage with charitable donations on a daily and easy-to-use basis.

We earnt 330+ users, coverage on LifeHacker and ITNews.com.au, adoption by 12 charities including Pink Ribbon Day and Youth Off The Streets. All startup projects went up for auction at the end of the weekend with great success. 2009 Jan.
